How play, stories and observation shape every day in class.
Young children understand the world through their hands, eyes and bodies. We give them real things to touch, build, sort and talk about, rather than worksheets.
Each month has a theme. A theme such as Animals might bring a story, a song, animal masks, counting the legs in a farm, and clay models. Hearing an idea many ways helps it stick.
Children listen to and play with sounds before they learn letter shapes. They count real objects before they write numbers. This order helps them build strong foundations.
Each child has strengths. We notice them, build on them and gently support what is harder, without comparing children or ranking them.
Teachers watch and record how children play and learn. This shows us what they are ready for next, and gives parents a clear picture.
Come and see the school. We’ll show you around and answer every question.
